Editorial policy
Genuine Tennis Review aims to make tennis choices easier to assess, not to turn every feature into a recommendation. We explain our reasoning, distinguish fact from opinion and correct material errors openly.
Accuracy and context
We check descriptions against the information available to us and use precise language. Comparisons should make clear what is being compared and what a feature can reasonably tell a reader. We avoid unsupported performance promises and note when an answer depends on individual preference or conditions.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to satisfy a brand or partner. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable verdict, and we do not present a product mention as independent editorial judgement when it is part of a collaboration.
Corrections
If a reader spots a factual error or unclear description, they can send the relevant passage and supporting detail through the Contact page. We review credible corrections and update material where needed, making significant changes clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Sponsored or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, they are identified as illustrations and are not evidence of how equipment performs.
A label is not an explanation
We separate features from promises, compare like with like and make the trade-offs plain. A choice that suits one player or setting may not suit another.
